Our services and interview coaching helps you to bridge the gap and teaches you techniques you can adopt to overcome those seemingly difficult barriers. You will see rapid results in a matter of sessions 

 

All our consultants have worked in the Australian corporate environment for many years and are often bilingual and some are international students themselves at one stage. Hence, they understand the challenges you face and the attitude and techniques required to win over a hiring manager. During Interview Coaching sessions you will:

 

• Learn interview preparation essentials

• Practice being interviewed by a highly experienced career coach that has extensive recruitment experience in Australia

• Receive constructive feedbacks on how you can improve your interview skills and outshine your competitors

• Acquire techniques to answer competency and behavioural-based interview questions

• Receive advice on how to build rapport and highlight your strengths and sell your unique value proposition

• Learn how to avoid common interview pitfalls and learn what to say and know when to stop

• Discover strategies to overcome anxiety and develop your confidence.

• Discover effective interview follow up strategies

• Receive advice on how to discuss and negotiate salary to your advantage

 

The Process is as follows:

 

• We will ask you to provide basic information about your desired occupation and industry and ask you to email your self-marketing documents (Resume and cover letter) to our Career coaches for review

• A 1 hour one to one interview with a career consultant experienced in advising international students and new migrants (40 minutes interview and 20 minute feedback)

• Upon completion of your mock interview you will receive a full recommendation report highlighting your areas of improvement and practical advice that can be immediately implemented
